A post about differential fluid

This post is an informational about differential fluid. No comments are available for this post. Instead this will be a breakdown of how to maintain your differential fluid in your vehicle:

  • Try not to drive in extreme conditions
  • Check your differential fluid every 10,000 miles
  • When changing be sure to not underfill or overfill

If you have a leak:

Step 1) If there is a hard shifting coming from differential stop driving vehicle. Damage to differential fluid is irreversible.

Step 2) Drain the differential fluid and keep track of how much was taken out. Compare that to what the manual says to the normal capacity.

Step 3) Add new differential fluid.

A post about brake pads

This post is about brake pads. Discussing tips and tricks to changing out brake pads. A tip I have is that you should try to change your brake pads when it is between 45 degrees F and 70 degrees F. If it is too cold or too hot your brake pads are harder to remove. Also do not drive for a minimum of 5 hours before changing brake pads.

A post about transmission fluid

Let’s talk about transmission fluid. This post is about transmission fluid.

What works best for your vehicle? List the year, make and model of your vehicle. Typically in my experience certain brandds (i.e. Ford, Toyota) have less transmission problems if conventional transmission fluid is used instead of synthetic. I am also putting a video in this post about a transmission fluid change on a high mileage vehicle.
